Kaleidokam by Play on Perspectives design

Kaleidokam is a outcome based on the Play on Perspective brief which is also a collaboration between Made Up Curiosity and Detour. The main objective is to help designers see things in patterns and find inspirations for creative solutions. It is a focus on the sense of sight. The solution I came up with would be a disposable camera with a ever-changing kaleidoscope lens. Taking the purpose of taking photos to another level.

The main inspiration for the design on the camera is mainly based on the word kaleidoscope. Hence these carefully picked elements that will be used for the disposable camera would be designs that work along the line of geometric, reflective, symmetrical and also the main focus on the sense of sight.

A few try outs for the design of Kaleidokam, having most of the graphics being reflected and almost symmetrical to fit the concept of this whole outcome.

Some other designs that are a mixture of different elements planned, this design is less cluttered and not so much in order as compared to the other designs tested. Which is also quite similar to the previous design I did for the pocket diary kit during last semester.

The final two designs which will be considered to be use for the kaleidokam design, the main purpose is to attract users by the sense of sight and also to repackage the disposable camera to fit into the collaboration's theme.
