A laboratory test on the death of curiosity : Step by step

The final layout and assemble of the bottles, trays and wooden work board. I've also now placed a steel tweezer in because it will be easier for the participants to transfer the circular sheet around and not to dirty their hands while pouring away the residue. Also, I wanted to keep the layout simple so that it won't be too complicated for my participants to understand.

Below are the instructions and photos to show the go about of the curiosity experiment test.

Firstly, use the tweezer to pick up a circular sheet and place in on the wooden workspace. Instructions are direct as there are stickers on the trays and wooden workspace.

After, pick up any bottle according to the label below. And drip 2 drips onto the circular sheet.

Then, pick up curiousmonoxide as labelled, then also drip 2 drops onto the puddle that is now on the circular sheet.

Observe the colour change which will happen within seconds.

Next, pour the excess residue into the second tray so that it is easy and dry enough to keep the takeaway message.

At the end of the experiment, the participant should have understood the design issue and have a take away message with him/her that serves as a reminder that we are always curious, we just need to be more curious.
