A few try outs for the design template of the pocket diary, it will be kept at A6 size so it is portable and fits the disposable camera and pen size.
I also tried applying colours into the design using the colour scheme I proposed in the earlier stage of brainstorming of this idea. Which was the peach, light brown, grey, white and black theme. However, I still decided to stick to black and white because I want the contents that will be collected during the journey to stand out by showing its colours.
The final design of the pocket diary, it is more of a situational design just that it is more personal to a traveller and not being shared with others. Because this activity encourages the traveller to experience right where he is at that moment by paying special attention to his five senses and then document them down. I named the title, "Right where you are", so that the traveller has an idea of the specific aim of the pocket diary, gives him instructions on how to use the diary and also a situation created.
