A brainstorm of ideas for the past few days with Stanley, so many possibilities that got me excited. But I filtered down a few that are possible to do within these few days before WIP and Tokyo design week. Get down to earth and serious, these are the outcomes I need to complete by 22nd October.
- Infographic posters has no hierarchy, no focus point, message not clear and audience get distracted
- Curation/ display of work wasn't in place
- Cool to do the dripping activity but no conclusion
- Video too draggy and slow, need to pace faster
- Consider to try out different material for message card
- Instructions for dripping activity was not clear
- Consider to combine instructions with the infographic poster
2. Travel Journal Version 1 (Korea)
- Do up a A3 poster since Travel journal is currently in korea for an exhibition
- Include process, experience and conclusion through pictures and text
- To include brief description of project, process, problems faced, what better suggestions, conclusion
3. Travel Journal Version 2 ( Japan) -
- Improvised Travel journal but kept similar design as previous one
- Include new activities and scrape away some old ones
- A tester to be used in Tokyo
- Same way of binding and packaging
- Might spilt into five booklets
- New colour scheme : grey, pastel brown, pastel pink, peach, black, white
4. Pocket Diary Kit
- Packaging of disposable camera
- Packaging of pen
- Packaging of drawstring pouch
- Design of cover and contents
- Finalize packaging design, 5 senses vector
- To be ready and tested by two users
Too many big ideas, too little time. WIP is in less than 6 days and I need to churn out 3 outcomes in time for WIP and my tester kit to be ready and tested in Tokyo, which will be 1 day straight after WIP. Some times I wished there wasn't a thing called sleep.
